Applications:
sv cat 102 is an effective liquid organo tin compound for esterification & trans-esterification. It is used in preparation of plasticizers, saturated & unsaturated polyesters & polyester resins. Being neutral catalyst neutralization and washing can be eliminated, easily used in stainless steel reactors & side reactions are minimized. In the preparation of phthalate plasticizers a catalyst level of 0. 03 % by weight of phthalic anhydride is recommended and acid value upto 0. 1 may be reach within four hours.
